Cabling

Sometimes, due to a lack of pruning or improper branch structure, tree branches can become hazardous. Cabling a tree involves the installation of a cable between two branches or stems of a tree in order to prevent one or both of those stems from splitting from the tree. At Darlington, our arborists implement dynamic cabling systems, systems that allow a certain amount of movement within them so that the tree can move in a restricted but mostly natural manner.
